1869, 10¢ yellow (116), well tied by "N. York Steamship Mar. 31" c.d.s. on 1870 folded cover from Cuba to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Cuban origin indicated by blind embossed "J.M. Morales & Co., Cardenas" on otherwise blank lettersheet, Halifax receiver (Apr 5) on reverse; some reinforced splitting along vertical file fold, Fine. A very rare, if not unique, usage.
