1873, 30¢ gray black (165), single used with horizontal pairs of the 2¢ (#160) and 10¢ (#178) and single 5¢ (#179) on large size registered cover from Boston to Quebec, Apr. 21, 1877; cover with mended tears and file folds slightly affecting the stamps, reduced at sides, Very Good. 59¢ postage is a 1¢ overpayment of the 58¢ rate for an 8 oz. letter at 3¢ per ½ oz. plus 10¢ for registration.
