Post Office Dept., 1873, 12¢ black (O52), cork cancel and just tied by Washington, D.C. c.d.s. on P.O.D. 3rd Asst. P.M.G. envelope to Lone Pine, Pa.; reduced a bit at right and, in opening, at left, faults. Includes the original order from Lone Pine P.M. for "100 Official 3 cent Postage Stamps." The order was apparently sent back along with the requested stamps. It bears a P.O.D. Finance Office handstamp of Nov 9.
