California Postal History, Selection of about 20 California covers, runs from 1850s stampless to 1920s, includes an 1853 stampless Cottonwood ms with letter, an 1860 10¢ #35, Placerville to Dehli, Iowa, an 1892 Forbestown "Kicking Mule" duplex on registered package receipt, and a 15¢ #274 single franking on a legal size registered cover from Los Angeles to Des Moines (1¢ convenience overfranking of triple rate); etc. Nothing rare but a nice range of towns and frankings, condition is a little mixed but generally F-VF.
