1893, 2¢ Columbian, imperf proof on stamp paper (231Pb), horizontal pair tied on piece by New York machine cancel, Oct 2, 1912, faulty as always, the right stamp particularly so, still a highly collectible example of this rare error, and the only one we are aware of that is used. Only one pane of 50 issued.

All known examples are from a single sheet that had been crumpled up and subsequently "rescued" by an unknown savior at the ABNco.
