1859, 5¢ brown, type I (29), horizontal strip of 4. Tied to piece by two strikes of "New Orleans, La. Jan 1, 1860" c.d.s., quite well centered for a multiple of this difficult issue. Second stamp from left with trivial pre-use tear. Very Fine and handsome.
