Württemberg 6kr black on green, type I (Michel 3a), vertical strip of three with large margins all around, cancelled two of three strikes blue "Stuttgart, 5 Jan 1852, 6-7" c.d.s. on folded letter to Mannheim (backstamped 6 Jan.); tiny sealed tear at left edge of upper stamp in strip, still a choice Extremely Fine showpiece. Postage for this triple weight letter was 6kr for a distance of 10-20 miles times three. Scott 4.
