Württemberg 18kr black on violet gray, type I (Michel 5 I), used with 6kr on silk paper (3y) both with four mostly large margins tied by two of three strikes "Stuttgart, 14 Mar 1855" c.d.s. on envelope via Frankfurt (14.3) to London, England, red "P." in circle and London "Paid, DL, 17 Mar 17, 1855" receiver; stamps Very Fine-Extremely Fine (6kr with dented frameline at upper left [Mi. 3 PFI]) cover with edge wear and small repairs of same, an attractive and very scarce usage. Postage was 9kr internal plus 14kr credit to England, a convenience overpayment of 1kr. Scott 6.
