II, Dec. 16" (1867 "fan" cancel on folded cover to Suhl (Prussia), blue sender's handstamp, backstamped Stuttgart c.d.s. (16.12) and Suhl distribution datestamp (18.12), sender's instruction "attached sample without value", an Extremely Fine and rare 18kr single franking. Postage was 2x 9kr for a 1-2 loth over-20 mile Postal Union letter. Scott 46.
