Lot 3127
Württemberg 3kr rose and 7kr slate blue (Michel 31a, 35b), used separately on the same 1868 cover to the same address on two different dates from Stuttgart to Kochendorf, 3kr cancelled 20 May with corresponding 24 May Kochendorf backstamp, 7kr cancelled 31 May with Wurtt. railroad (31.5) and Kochendorf (1.6) backstamps, Very Fine and most unusual. An enclosure was probably added on the second usage pushing the weight over one loth and requiring 7kr instead of 3kr. Scott 42, 44.
