Caroline Islands 1914 (7 July) registered value letter from Bremen to Angaur, Palau, bearing two 1902 2mk blue cancelled Bremen c.d.s.s., the envelope, with 2400mks, was from the German South Sea Phosphate Corp. in Bremen to its offices in Angaur via Milan (10.7), Naples (11.7), Brindisi (12.7), Hong Kong (27.8), Singapore and Cebu aboard the Prinzess Alice then by a baggage ship in the Spee Squadron to Palau, Very Fine. 4mk rate comprised 3.60mk for insurance on the 2400mk plus 20pf for postage and 20pf for registration.
