German New Guinea 1914 (6 July) picture postcard from Herbertshöhe to Vienna, bearing 10pf yacht tied by Herbertshöhe c.d.s., light strike red Russian "Babajew" censor handstamp applied at Vladivostock, Very Fine and rare. Carried by the Prinz Waldemar in Hong Kong and Russia where it was censored and sent via the U.S. to Austria. Card features view of Rabaul.
