Marshall Islands 1895 (13 June) large linen-lined registered envelope from Jaluit to Berlin (14.8) via Sydney (3.7), bearing 2mk brown purple, 20pf ultramarine (3) and 50pf dull rose brown (V37e, 48d, 50c) cancelled Jaluit c.d.s.s., Sydney "R" in oval handstamp; two vertical file folds, Very Fine. Sent from Dr. Irmer to Dr. König at the Foreign Office in Berlin. A convenience overpayment by 10pf of 14-times the 20pf rate plus 20pf for registration.
