Samoa 1895 (14 Aug.) large registered envelope from Plantation Vaihele, Apia to Friedenau (13.9), via San Francisco bearing 1889 20pf ultramarine and two 50pf lilac brown tied by German provisional handstamp as previous; vertical file fold, couple short perfs, otherwise Very Fine. Postage was five times the single 20pf rate plus 20pf for registration.
