Samoa 1914 (8 Sept.) registered cover from Apia to Cochabamba, Bolivia, franked with ½d & pair of 1d G.R.I. overprints tied by light Apia c.d.s.s., Santiago, Chile registration label, backstamped Sydney (21.9) and Valparaiso Chile (? 11), F-VF.

From the same correspondence as the previous cover but on 29 August. Samoa was occupied by New Zealand forces assisted by British, French and Australian troops. The German postal station was closed and on 5 September the G.R.I. overprints were issued.
