Canal Zone 1906, 10¢ violet and black, CANAL ZONE double, one inverted (26a), from the 7.25mm spacing printing, rich color, outstanding centering, straight edge at left. O.g. Small thin spot as all known examples have. Extremely Fine appearance.

This error was caused by the overprint on one sheet being printed too far to the right resulting in the left row not receiving an overprint, when the printer noticed the error, he reinserted the sheet after turning it 180° to correct the problem, he moved it too far which resulted in the second vertical row receiving an additional but inverted impression of the overprint.
