NICARAGUA 1930 intended Miami/Lakehurst-Friedrichshafen return flight (Michel 68 var.), registered cover addressed to Berlin franked with 2.85cor Nicaragua postage (including C7b, C8b) tied by Managua postmarks (15 May), printed instruction "Miami - Lakehurst (via ‘Graf Zeppelin’) - Friedrichshafen", backstamped Miami (18 May), New York (19 May) and Berlin (29 June), F-VF and most unusual. The cover arrived in New York in plenty of time to make the Lakehurst flight but for some reason was held up and apparently sent by surface mail to Berlin.
