1875, 5¢ blue (179), well centered within large margins, cancelled by violet segmented cork duplexed with "Washington D.C. Jul 15 1878" c.d.s. on cover to the U.S. Commission at the Exposition Universelle in Paris, France, received with "The Yale Lock Postal Bureau" framed handstamp in blue for the Model Post Office, reverse with two additional exposition postmarks; stain at lower right, Fine and rare.
