Ephemera, Sample book of 100 die proofs of elaborate embossed seals, most of which are multicolor featuring various coats of arms in metallic gold, silver and bronze inks. Cover inscribed "Samples of Dies sent in [sic] Paris and London 1888 Illustrated by myself as specimens to show (signed) J. Douglas Scott". A beautiful example of the engraver's art.
