1834 (Jul. 23) Consulate U.S.A. Halifax to Philadelphia Pa., folded circular carried by ship to Philadelphia, entered the mails with red "Phila 20 Dec" double octagon datestamp and matching full rigged ship handstamp and "6" octagon rating, contents mention sailing vessels clearing port without producing an invoice of cargos, and also includes a printed list of 18 consular agents from various ports of British North America; some wear along central fold, still Very Fine and rare.
