1857, 1¢ blue, type IIIa (22), bottom margin horizontal strip of three from Plate 11, pen cancelled, rich color and superb impression on cover with matching "Cornwallville Ap. 18" (N.Y.) postmark. written vertically at left edge, first stamp with left margin partly removed upon separation from sheet, right pair is Very Fine, an attractive and very scarce usage.
