Extensive Canal Zone collection balance, comprised of overprints on U.S. stamps including singles, blocks and plate blocks, many with listed and unlisted varieties such as broken letters, overprint shifts, split overprints, spacing varieties etc. Highlights include mint or unused #4-8 (6) sets, 1924-25 issues including 4 sets of singles plus 71b, 80 block of four with three different spacings, 1925-28 issue includes 5 sets plus 85a, 86e (3), 91c (2), plus plate blocks of several values including #90 (2), 91 (4) and 92 (2); postage dues include #J1-6, J15-17 (5) each, plus J17b single and one in pair with normal, J20c, some small faults, mostly minor, overall above average for this area and an excellent lot.
