Airmail, 1930, 65¢ Graf Zeppelin (C13), tied by mute oval on 2¢ entire sent registered airmail from Boston to Tanca, Peru, postmarked Boston (24 Apr.) on reverse as well as Miami (26 Apr.), Cristobal, Canal Zone (27 Apr.) and Tanaca (1 May), Very Fine and rare use of a Zeppelin stamp on non-Zeppelin mail. The airmail rate was 40¢ to Peru via Miami plus 15¢ for registration, but prior to 1 Jan. of 1930 the Miami-Peru rate was 50¢ so this may have been inadvertantly overpaid (other than the convenience of the 2¢ envelope).
