1861, 24¢ steel blue (70b), used with 30¢ orange and pair of 1¢ blue (63, 71) on 1861 cover to Lechhausen, Germany all tied by blue from Chicago grid duplexes, scarce circular "Chicago Ill. Am. Pkt/ 14 Paid" U.S. credit marking in red, red framed "Aachen/Franco" German entry marking, backstamped half-round Lechhausen (Dec 2) arrival; opened at bottom and left, minor faults affecting the 24¢ and 30¢ otherwise Very Fine and most attractive.
