1852-57, 3¢ orange brown of 1852 (11 var.), 75L2L, printed in the rare "plate 2L orange brown" (middle stamp in photo), accompanied by a 36R2E, a "normal" orange brown (left stamp), and a 90R2L in a typical shade of brownish carmine (right) for comparison, all with four margins, the 75L2L with a blue Augusta Ga. town cancel; fresh and Very Fine. Includes original display card signed by Dr. Amonette.
