1857, 6d reddish purple on very thick soft wove paper (10), deep rich shade, ample to large margins. Neat Montreal 4-ring "21" cancellation. Disturbed paper fibers on reverse and small corner crease at lower left, neither of which are mentioned on accompanying certificate. Unitrade C$8,000 ($6,000).
