1859, 10¢ black brown (16), rich color, well centered, tied by concentric rings on 1859 (Sept. 17) envelope from Montreal to Whitby (Sept. 19), arrival backstamp in blue, stamp has a short crease at top left corner and the cover practically opened all around with internal backing cardboard to which it is affixed as well as a few sealed tears, Fine to Very Fine franking.
