1855, 10¢ green, type III (15), vertical pair, used with 10¢ green, type II (14) single, 1¢ blue, type IV (9) single and vertical pair, and 3¢ dull red (11) vertical strip of three, all with mostly large margins to slightly in, cancelled by matching circled grids (10¢ pair tied) on 1855 folded letter to Nantes, France, red "New Orleans La. May 19" c.d.s., indistinct red "New York Am. Pkt. May 30" exchange c.d.s. and blue "16" rating, red London and French transits, manuscript "24" (décimes) due rating, Paris (6.12) and Nantes (6.13) backstamps; minor edgewear, a Very Fine and attractive three-color franking paying double the 21¢ rate to France.
