Jan. 1 1913" duplex postmark on large piece of package wrapper addressed to Chicago Ills., endorsed "This is the 1st Parcel Post Pkg Received at the Sta C at 3A.M. Jan 1st 1913, Geo. J. Foley Sta. C.", piece has been affixed to a large portion of the front page Carroll County Citizen newspaper article titled "First Package by Parcels Post" that details the complete account of this package, both affixed to an old album page, Very Fine.

There is a small undated piece (addressed trimmed off) recorded bearing the 1¢ 5¢ and 10¢ Parcel Post stamps, evidence of mailing on January 1, 1913 is an endorsement by an Assist. Postmaster and the January 1 insured parcel receipt (Ex-Bothamley).
