2d deep greenish blue on blued paper (SG 2), clear to oversize margins, tied by neat New Plymouth "9" grid on piece of folded letter with Auckland receiver, Mar 6, 1857, alongside, stamp also tied by neat pen stroke, exceptionally fresh and Very Fine.
