6d brown (SG 13), large margins nearly all around except close at extreme upper left corner, tied by "1" on 1860 (26 June) envelope from Auckland to Sydney (6.7), with "Ship Letter/Sydney" c.d.s. on reverse, small piece of flap at back missing, the standard letter rate of 6d per ounce to Australia which was in effect from 1 January 1859.
