2d dull deep blue (SG 96), on thick soft paper with wear to right of Queen's head which distinguishes this from the Richardon issues, large to ample margins nearly all around, touched at upper left, cancelled by "11" barred obliterator on 1863 (11 Sept.) local Napier envelope, stamp lifted for examination and replaced, Fine and rare usage of the 1863 Provisional issue from the well-known Colenso correspondence.
