(18.8) on 1865 envelope to New York State via Christchurch (24.8) and Dunedin (26.8), "London/Paid" c.d.s. (16.11) in red and "5/Portland Me. Am Pkt." c.d.s. (29.11), rated "8" with handstruck "16 cents" in red, "Due 5" (to be paid on delivery) in pencil, cover has small corner defect at upper left and tear at top, nevertheless Fine to Very Fine 1s2d rate to U.S.A. via Suez.
