British Empire Collection, comprehensive collection of several thousand stamps neatly arranged in six large stockbooks with nearly a complete range of countries (the most notable missing areas being Great Britain, Cape of Good Hope, Mauritius and Australia) and stamps from all reigns. On first glance the collection appears to be mostly short sets and low values, but upon looking carefully, one finds a tremendous number of $25-$150 stamps and a few even higher. Condition is a little mixed, especially among the 19th century, but is generally F-VF with the mint being nearly all LH. A great lot with lots of hidden value.
