Trinidad, 1879 Foreign card to London, bearing 1876 (1d) carmine single and diagonal bisect (S.G. 75, 75a) tied by "1" cancels, two poorly struck double-arc datestamps (a more complete strike on reverse, 9 May 79) along with red London receiver (29.5); creases and corner tear but scarce as it is the earliest recorded correspondence from Postmaster J.W. O'Brien to his family in London.
