George Folsum Correspondence, extensive correspondence to George Folsom of over 235 letters (most include covers or outer address leaf as folded letter), many fascinating subjects including 1845 letter concerning the plans for Madison Park with map drawn in, group concerned with establishing an Astronomical Observatory in New York City, three 1858-59 ALS from Henry Rowe Schoolcraft, a few while at the Hague, etc., also includes group of 25 letters from Edward Folsom (George's nephew) written from the office at The Hague while his Uncle and Aunt were traveling to inform them what was going on in both the Netherlands and at home, a very interesting look at both the U.S. and Europe during this short period of time; Fine, A fabulous correspondence providing an intesting look at the past in America and Europe.
