"Via Nicaragua / Ahead of the Mails", perfect strike of italic style handstamp in blue on rebacked folded cover front to New York, bearing 1851 3¢ dull red, diagonal bisect (11d) bottom right half, well tied by black grid cancellation, endorsed "Via Nicaragua" and blue crayon "Circular San Frco. May 31/53"; masterfully restored, fresh and Very Fine appearance.
