Baltimore, Md., 1845, 5¢ black on bluish (3X3), position 12, margins showing parts of all four frame lines, small preprint paper fold at left, cancelled by pen squiggle and tied by blue "Paid" handstamp on buff cover to Richmond, Va., matching "Baltimore Md. Feb 24" c.d.s. and 2nd strike of "Paid", 1846 enclosure; stamp with trivial gum toning, envelope neatly opened on three sides, still a Very Fine and rare usage.
