Patent Envelope Collection, group of over 100 items including a specimen of patented "Ralph's Polychrest Envelope", various unused patented envelopes including 1874 with long gummed tong flap, Goodbody's Mailing Envelope sample and advertising circular, Hinchman original 1904 Canadian patent document accompanied by three different patented (in U.S.) "safety postal envelopes" with perforated flaps: one unused and two used, several used examples of the "Pull Either Wire." envelopes, 1887 used, an 1892 used example of "The Flynn Business Envelope", and about 50 window envelope styles into the 20th century including two used 1883-1887 examples of the Ohio Farmers Insurance Co. window envelopes accompanied by precursor without window mailed with 1868 3¢ grilled, Outlook Envelope Co. patented 1902, Transo Paper company patented 1904, a couple foreign examples; some faults to be expected, Fine to Very Fine, a great basis for study and expansion.
