1870, 24¢ purple (153), used with 3¢ green (147), quartered cork cancels duplexed with "Posttsville Pa 1 Feb" c.d.s. on small cover to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, stamps tied by one of two strikes red "New '24' York Feb 3" exchange credit c.d.s., red "London Paid" transit c.d.s. also ties 3¢ stamp, printed address to the U.S.S. Lancaster care of U.S. Consul, "Rio de Janeiro 18 Marco 72" backstamp; small corner repair upper right, 24¢ minor corner crease, otherwise Very Fine.
