Nicaragua Essays and Proofs, selection five intact lots from Christie's ABNCo. archive auction: 453 (2c "Liberty Cap" die proof in black); 454 (2c "Liberty Cap" plate proof on card, full sheet of 100); 471 (Unissued 1909 50c León Tercentenary, handpainted stamp size photographic model and unfinished die proof); 473 (1921 Independence (401-407) group of three production mock-ups); 486 (1931 15c & 20c Airpost (C18-19) group of seven different die proofs or mock-ups); also 1929 airmail (C4-6), two sets of die proofs in issued colors, one set for approval, the other approved and initialed; and an imperforate file sheet of 100 of a 20c orange airmail perforated "specimen" across the sheet.
