German Plebiscite Areas Collection, highly specialized parellel mint and used collection of Allenstein, Marienwerder, Scleswig and Upper Silesia mounted in an album by Michel number. Includes types, varieties, multiples, town cancellations, local issuesand more. A high percentage are expertized including 10 different blue C.I.H.S. handstamps of Upper Silesia, Mi. 4, 6-8 & 11-16, all which are signed Weinberg BPP; each is tied on a small piece, all but one with the same Oppeln c.d.s., "19.2.20. 9-10V."; these alone cat. €4,300. A terrific collection that was formed by the late Marcel Jaffe.
