Brazil, 1891, 100r blue and red vertical tête-bêche pair (109b), on piece of 100r postal stationery. Tied by "Rio de Janeiro" c.d.s. of "25 Jan 92". Filing fold passes through central row of horizontal perfs causing separation and one stamp has light diagonal crease. Fine appearing example of this scarce variety.
