1847, 5¢ red brown (1), margins to cutting at upper left, light pre-usage wrinkle (not mentioned in certificate), tied by red square grid, no town mark, on an incoming envelope to New York, with Blood's 1¢ black on bronze (15L13), ample margins, acid tied, at upper left. Fine usage.

This cover was placed aboard an east bound train by a Blood's envelope and cancelled on arrival in New York. Such covers were virtually never struck by a datestamp.
