1857, 3¢ dull red, type III (26), vertical block of 6 with sheet margin at top, double perforations vertically in the top two rows and partly into the third. Original gum, stamps never hinged. Color a bit faded and tiny black ink (?) dots across surface. Otherwise a Fine and unusual multiple for the 3¢ specialist.
