1847, 5¢ grayish brown (1a), horizontal pair, margins all around, cancelled by central strike of fancy circular grid in green, matching "Wilmington Del. Sep 29" c.d.s. on 1847 folded letter from the Shipley correspondence to Liverpool, England, endorsed "via Boston, Steamer", black 1 shilling due handstamp and Liverpool (10.16) arrival backstamp, lettersheet with preuse paperfold causing light crease in the adhesives, Very Fine appearance.
