1847, 10¢ black (2), full to large margins except just shaving frameline at bottom left, used on Kennedy correspondence folded letter datelined "Montreal Feby 3d 1851" to New York City, red "Montreal L.C. Fe 3 1851" origin datestamp and matching "Paid" straightline with ms. "4½" pence rating tying adhesive, upon arrival in New York, red circled "10" rating handstamp also ties 10¢ light file fold slightly affects 10¢ a Fine usage showing the 4½d cy to the line rate paid in cash and the U.S. over 300 miles rate paid by 10¢ 1847 issue.
