Hawaii, 1857, 5¢ blue, thin white paper (8), full to large margins, used with U.S. 12c Black (36), both stamps attached by wax wafers and tied by "San Francisco Cal. May 21, 1861" c.d.s. on cover to Brooklyn, N.Y., red "Honolulu U.S. Postage Paid Apr. 12" c.d.s. opposite 5c; cover with stain at right, large sealed tear at top, through red postmark and under 5c, still Fine, rare usage of the 12c perforated.
