Wood & Co.'s Express, printed frank on 3¢ pink entire (U58), deleted in manuscript., presumably to indicate this wasn't handled by express, blue "Oroville Cal. Apr. 5" c.d.s. and matching grid of small squares, to Forbestown, manuscript. "forwarded" and readdressed to Marysville, Forbestown c.d.s. beneath frank, sealed opening tear at left, Fine & unusual. Another interpretation of the pen deletion is that it occurred when the cover was marked for forwarding.
