Confederacy, Unused Stock of #1-5, Selection of about 80 stamps comprising 5c green #1 (19 including two pairs), 10c blue #2 (11 including a pair), 2c green #3 (11), 10c blue #4 (36 including 3 pairs and a block of 4 + a used single) and 10c rose #5 (3 + 1 faulty used); various shades and stones; mixed condition but includes many F-VF or better and many o.g. - even a few NH; several stamps also with certificates. Also included are five "Birmingham forgeries" of the 5c Jeff Davis (two green, four blue (one "used") and two red) plus a fake "used" 2c #3. An excellent lot, worthy of a careful inspection.
